As I am sure many of you have heard, Chance is leaving for his "forever" home on Friday.
Today Chance made his last visit to rebhab, where he got loads of extra kisses along with his therapy. He has many friends there so it was bittersweet to say goodbye, while knowing he was going to a wonderful home.
Here is Chance on the driveway for walking on a slope.
You can see he is still cow hocked which suggests some hip issues.
Chance headed straight for the rug as he looks forward to his streches. Did I tell you he is a camera bug? He just loves having his picture taken.
This will give you an idea how big Chance has gotten. He is actually the tallest dog in my yard these days.
Oh! By the way, Chance weighed in at 58 pounds!
Chance doing the cavelettis. They just hosed down the area so it looks like the street scenes in movies where the pavement is always wet. Well, he is our star after all!
This absolutely amazed me.
Chance had never been asked to do more than 2-3 stairs.
With minimal coaxing, he made it up an entire flight of stairs. Coming down, he took one step at a time.
When he finished, he gladly went back up & down a second time.
Why do I think Chance won't miss this part? He tried to duck out when we headed for this room.
At least he did not have to swim!
